The Job to be done
pplwise was brought in to support GROPYUS with a dedicated tech and product recruiter to hire for new and long existing roles, after a period of transformation (implementation of a new ATS). pplwise took full autonomy and ownership of between 8-18 open roles, spanning tech, product, finance, HR and support functions, covering a wide range of technologies and profiles, while the organization had dynamic priorities and complex processes.
The Approach
- Close collaboration with leadership to understand the organization and sharpen the candidate personas
- Set up hiring forecasting, data driven metrics and SLAs to improve efficiency
- Active sourcing with quick iterations to maximize outreach and response rates
- Evangelized the appropriate use of ATS in an organization where it was not used to its capacity
- Worked with hiring teams to adapt and simplify the hiring process to improve speed

The Result
- Sourced 3,700 profiles for IT, software, data, product, finance, HR, and leadership positions
- Conducted over 580 screening calls and coordinated over 400 complex multi step interview processes
- 29 offers and 17 hires so far, including for roles open for 250+ days
- Average time to hire of 36 days, 50% of hires came from direct sourcing
- Saved 135,000 EUR (46%) for headhunting fees for the existing hires
