The Job to be done

Flip hired pplwise to work on four core roles, and six roles in total, in a 0,5 FTE capacity.

The Approach

pplwise has developed a hiring funnel for Flip that tracks every step, offers quick adjustments and the possibility to continuously improve hiring performance.

The Challenges

Most applications were unsuitable due to language barriers, skill gaps, or location mismatches. Additionally, the majority of sourced candidates had a pre-sales focus, since their titles of “Solution Engineer” stand for both pre- and post-sales. To address this mismatch, we adjusted our sourcing strategy to target profiles with the title “IT Consultant.”

The Result

Over the past three months, five offers were made, resulting in two hires, with two signatures pending.

  • A total of 780 candidates were sourced, more than 2,000 applications were screened, leading to 104 interviews conducted by pplwise.
  • Of the 5 offers, 3 were directly sourced by ppl wise.
  • The median time to offer was 43 days. Delays were mostly due to holidays.
