The Job to be done

To meet urgent go-to-market hiring needs, pplwise partnered with Gastromatic in February, initially focusing on filling three high-priority marketing roles. A dedicated part-time Talent Partner was deployed immediately to ensure speed, quality, and delivery. Following the successful closure of all marketing roles, Gastromatic extended the RaaS deal partnership on a rolling monthly basis, shifting focus towards scaling the Customer Success & Account Executive Team.

The Approach

At the start of the partnership, Gastromatic provided a thorough onboarding for the pplwise Talent Partner to ensure full alignment with their culture, ways of working, and values to maintain quality while scaling.

From day one, pplwise took a hands-on and data-driven approach to deliver on Gastromatic’s hiring needs. The Talent Partner worked closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and the internal Talent Acquisition team to align on hiring priorities, expectations, and strategic goals. In parallel, they supported the CRO and Teamlead Talent Acquisition with real-time data reports and proactive communication to safeguard quality. Additionally, the TA partner advised hiring managers on candidate interviews, developed interview case studies, and helped streamline the overall interview process to ensure a focused and efficient recruiting process. In order to maintain a steady and direct sourced candidate pipeline, the pplwise TA partner took a funnel-based approach focusing on the candidate to hire ratio.

The Result

6 hires were delivered by the pplwise Talent Partner across two critical business units in under 5 months, with an average time to hire of 32 days including disciplinary role and a time to hire of 25 days for IC roles only. pplwise delivered at a cost per hire of €5,833 and an offer acceptance rate of 86%.
