The goal was to ramp up sales hiring & fill critical sales roles to capture market share in Germany. Since starting the collaboration, Wolt made 41 sales & commercial hires within 7 months with pplwise. Wolt needed German-speaking sales recruiters to meet the German expansion goals in a highly competitive market.
The Approach
Wolt provided an onboarding for the pplwise Talent Partners to be fully aligned with the culture, ways of working, and values to maintain quality while growing. pplwise shadowed calls with other Talent Partners and hiring managers, integrated into the team, and already made the first hire in the first month. pplwise provided valuable insights on the state of German sales hiring.
Above hiring, the Talent Partners contributed to several internal process improvement initiatives:
- Revamped the Sales Hiring Process to decrease the total number of candidates needed to make a hire. (Onsite: Offer Ratio 17:1 -> reduce by defining roles for each level L3 & L4, competencies and interviewing questions & workshop with sales leaders)
- Implementing Competency Based Interviewing in Sales Hiring
- Reporting training & workshops

The Result
Wolt made 41 hires within 7 months. The pplwise team on average made 20 interviews per week to consistently build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales candidates across Germany.
