- Co-host announcement
- Recap of 2024
Thomas Kohler:
Hello everybody. And hello Liz. I’m really looking forward to this short episode because I just want to do a short review and announcement. So we have two announcements. One announcement is that Liz will be the co host in 2025 of the people Factor podcast. And I’m really looking forward to do this because I know that you are a passionate podcast listener and we already had an episode and I’m looking forward that you will also contribute to the show. So maybe a few words from your side.
Yeliz Castillo:
Yeah, absolutely. So I am so excited to do this. It’s kind of nerve wracking I have to say, if I’m very honest. But that’s where growth happens. So yeah, I’m really, really happy to step out of my comfort zone and do that. And yeah, I’m so excited about all the interesting conversations I’m going to have and all the things that we’re going to be doing in this podcast.
Thomas Kohler:
Definitely. And also nice Christmas outfit because this episode will go live on 25th of December, I guess on the Wednesday. And so yeah, you chose the perfect outfit. I actually, I don’t have one unfortunately but the people wise logo is red so it’s, it’s the Christmas logo.
Yeliz Castillo:
And also I want to add this had also obviously a occasion because we had our all hands today, our 2024 All Hands and it was a Christmas theme. Well, I kind of incitigated to have a Christmas Jumper day since we’re all online. So yeah, this is why I thought I’d keep it for the day.
Thomas Kohler:
Yes. And also nice a short announcement on the podcast. We published now more than 100 episodes. The podcast has around 1.5 million views on LinkedIn, around 1,000 followers, regular listeners and fans across Germany, Austria, the UK and the US are the main countries. And I’m really looking forward to also developing the show together with you. So we will try and test maybe some new ideas and introduce maybe some new formats. This is still in discussion and looking forward to continue because we are just getting started, right?
Yeliz Castillo:
Absolutely, absolutely. I can’t wait.
Thomas Kohler:
Yes. And also on Peoplewise and updates. So we really finished the year strong and closing it at a revenue of more than 2.1, maybe even 2.2 million in revenue. That’s a 125% year over year growth with an estimated EBIT of somewhere between 21 and 25%. And a healthy service business is always somewhere between 20 and 30%. And I sometimes also looked into recruiting companies benchmarks where most of them are somewhere between 15 and 17%. So we also reinvest a lot into growth. We do a lot of dinners, we do a lot of podcasts.
We really make sure that everybody has the right tools, the right tech capabilities. We invest into benchmarks. So we really reinvest a lot. But the good thing is that it’s productive what we do and that we are very effective in how we do it because we have such a strong team, such a clear focus, such a strong value proposition decision, and such a strong collaboration with our customers and our framework based scientific approach and allows us to be so focused on profitable growth. And that’s also very good for all our individuals because it also means commission, it also means bonuses, it also means freedom, flexibility and all. As a remote first company with now around 20 talent partners.
Yeliz Castillo:
Yep. Incredible. Like the growth that we had this year and all the things that happened, you know, like all the different journeys on growth and learnings and success, it’s incredible, like crazy. And I am just super excited about the next year.
Thomas Kohler:
Me too. And so I’m really looking forward to this. Let’s close it like this five minute announcement and very glad to start or to finish the year strong and start strongly into 2025.
Yeliz Castillo:
Yeah, let’s do it.
